Armed with a trash can, the manager of a Paris, Texas, Whataburger location was able to subdue a violent customer who was alleged to be assaulting one of his employees.
According to a police statement, a customer had been verbally abusive to one of the restaurant employees and was asked to leave.
That customer did leave but came back and punched the manager several times.
After recovering quickly, the manager then countered WWE-style by pounding him repeatedly with a trash can to subdue him.
A bleeding-from-the-head Anthony William Newhuis was later arrested and charged with assault and public intoxication.
