Everyone has stories of silly things they've done in their lives, but have you ever stolen a train? The New York Police Department is currently searching for three individuals who took a subway train, though it might be more accurate to say they borrowed it.
On Saturday night, MTA personnel discovered that an R train, which had been parked on a storage track, was missing. The three individuals took the train for a joyride and later returned it near its original location, but not without causing some damage – several windows were broken.
Surprisingly, it was easier than expected to identify the culprits. The thieves posted a video on social media showing them inside the conductor’s cabin, with one person operating the controls. The trio wore black outfits and masks, and they covered the camera lenses inside the train with black marker.
