Paul Stanley is defending Kiss' history with groupies.
During an appearance on Steve-O's Wild Ride podcast, the singer described their relationships as "wholesome" flings in which nobody got hurt."
He said the women they were surrounded by were there because they loved the music, and he loved them so it was a good trade off.
Stanley also said "there was nothing tawdry about it" as it was "companionship."
