Twitter this morning says a tweet from President Trump threatening looters in Minneapolis violates company rules on glorifying violence.
The tweet, in which Trump said "when the looting starts the shooting starts" on reference to violent protests over the death of a black man in police custody, is still viewable but hidden beneath a disclaimer.
Twitter says it may be in the public's interest for the tweet to remain accessible.
This. after Trump on Thursday signed an executive order targeting social media companies in response to Twitter fact-checking two of his tweets about mail-in voting.
