Report: Players Associations Wants More Games, Full Prorated Salaries.

Ken Rosenthal and Evan Drellich of The Athletic report the Players Association wants a schedule longer than 82 games and insist players receive their full prorated salaries.

There was no bargaining session yesterday, but The Athletic reports the union had two separate calls involving the eight-man executive sub-committee and a second call involving the club's player reps.

Nationals ace Max Scherzer, a sub-committee member, tweeted "there's no reason to engage with MLB in any further compensation reductions."

The owners' proposal Tuesday was a sliding scale of slashing pay for 2020 games with no fans. The highest paid players would take the biggest cuts.
