Mike Sullivan is the latest member of the Penguins to chip in to the people during the coronavirus.
The Pens coach paid for groceries for shoppers at the Waterfront Giant Eagle and the South Hills Market District during senior hours yesterday.
The groceries were paid for in advance by Sullivan, according to the team. "My wife, Kate, and I wanted to do something for those at higher risk for the illness," the coach said in a release. "We know that most seniors live on fixed incomes and have to worry more about getting out in general, so it is our hope that we were able to give them a little relief during a stressful time."
