Jon Pardi is giving fans a look at his life during self-quarantine in the new episode of CMT’s digital series “On The Road,” which has been retitled “Off The Road,” thanks to the coronavirus.
The video shows Jon working heavy equipment, cutting down trees, and clearing his land, as well as more domestic things like going to the grocery store in a mask, getting a haircut from his fiancée, and even making some music.
“I miss going out somewhere to have a beer and tacos and the little stuff — running into people randomly, you don’t really do that anymore,” Jon shares. “The little things like that are gone. Seeing people… I think that’s a big deal.”
As for not being able to tour, he notes, “There’s talk of a whole year not playing concerts. The worst feeling is not knowing when you’re going to get back to work.” He adds, “I planned so much, this was supposed to be the year that I did my own thing. I was on my time, now I’m on quarantine time.”
