Major League Baseball officials are hoping to begin the 2020 season no later than July 2nd with a 100-game schedule.
Details of a new proposal from MLB would have teams playing in a realigned league at their home stadiums with no fans.
MLB is considering the temporary creation of three geographically centered 10-team divisions to limit the amount of travel between games.
No word yet on if the plan will gain any traction, but if approved, the Reds and Indians would be placed in the same division as the Cubs, White Sox, Brewers, Cardinals, Royals, Twins, Braves and Tigers.
