Linkin Park's plans to finally write new music are being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Bassist Dave "Phoenix" Farrell said on a recent episode of the Dan Really Likes Wine podcast that the band had been working on some new material, but that they aren't able to get much done while only being in contact through the video conferencing app Zoom.
Farrell added that he had taken up drums over the last year or year and a half "just to do something new."
Linkin Park has not put out any material since the 2017 death of their singer, Chester Bennington.
