DeWine Releases State Reopening Plan

Ohio is just days away from a slow reopening after the COVID-19 crisis.

Governor Mike DeWine delivered details of his plan to open the state's economy on Friday, starting with medical procedures that don't require overnight hospital stays.

Manufacturing, distribution and construction businesses can resume work on May 4th as long as employees and customers wear masks and social distancing recommendations are followed.

Consumer and retail stores will open May 12th, but employees and customers must wear masks at all times.

The governor did not set a reopening date for restaurants, bars and hair salons.
