Baseball is back. Well, sort of.
The world's first competitive, professional baseball game was played after the start of the pandemic was held yesterday in Taiwan.
President Tsai Ing-wen posted pictures of herself and a cat watching the Uni-President Lions beat the Chinatrust Brothers 4-1 after 11 innings inside an empty stadium.
The Chinese Professional Baseball League was supposed to kick off on Saturday, but the game between the Rakuten Monkeys and the Chinatrust Brothers was rained out.
