Healthcare workers and first responders are fighting a battle against an invisible enemy… and Americans are showing their gratitude.
Despite being “gowned up” in most cases, these new heroes are putting their health at risk to save lives. Efforts are underway now, by average Americans toshowour thanks.
In New Orleans food deliveries are being made to healthcare workers at 12 hospitals. In New York, first responders are being loaned cars, and in Joplin, Missouri, a pharmacy is making hand sanitizer for the heroes.
All around the country, hotel rooms are being offered, signs are being posted, and more types of gratitude are being shown.
Don’t forget to say thank you when you see a healthcare worker or frist responder. It goes a long way.
