In the only thing that is nearly as sickening as the coronavirus—we have your daily Tom Brady rumor linking him to a team other than the Patriots.
Still, despite the fact that you are likely to succumb to the coronavirus as Brady is of going to another team—and that is less than one tenth of a percent if you’re 80, a report now says that when free agency starts in a week, Tom Brady will have an aggressive contract offer from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Not surprisingly, that report comes from the Tampa Bay Times, which reports that the Bucs “are going all in” on Brady, with head coach Bruce Arians leading the charge, GM Jason Lichtt rusting Arians’ judgment about the quarterback position, and the Glazer family that owns the Bucs ready to spend what it takes to get Brady to Tampa.
But can someone tell me why Brady would want to go to Tampa?
Because Arians is known as a coach quarterbacks like to play for. Really? More than Brady loves playing for Josh McDaniels, whose offense has helped four of his six Super Bowl rings?
If only I could wash my hands of these stories in just 20 seconds.
