Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Elvis Merzlikins returned from injury to help the CBJ beat Vancouver 2-1 on the road.
Two rookies provided all of the offense for the Jackets in the second-period with goals from Emil Bemstrom and Eric Robinson.
Playing for the first time since February 24th, when he suffered an upper-body injury, Merzlikins made 26-saves and provided stiff defense for Columbus.
With the win, the Jackets reclaimed the first Wild Card spot in the East and will look to add to that on Thursday when they play Pittsburgh.
