The Columbus Blue Jackets rallied for three-goals in the third period but still fell 5-4 on the road to the Minnesota Wild.
Playing on back-to-back nights, the Jackets looked tired and fell behind as goaltender Matiss Kivlenieks gave up four early goals in just his fourth start of the season.
During the third period, the CBJ rallied with three-goals, including Emil Bemstrom's third in three-games and Zach Werenski's 19th on the season, which leads all NHL defensemen.
Columbus and Minnesota will meet up again this week when the Wild come to Nationwide Arena on Friday.
