Kane Brown is the subject of a new Amazon mini-documentary “Velocity,” which is out now. The doc follows Kane’s rise from simply posting videos of his music on Facebook and Instagram, to headlining a huge show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles earlier this year.
“I was just messing around, not thinking about a career in music,” he shares. “Music was always in my life, whether I was on the school bus with my earbuds in or at home filming those videos. I was just messing around with it, not thinking I’d get a career out of it.”
The film also features behind-the-scenes clips from his Staples Center show, which had to be postponed after the death of Kane’s drummer Kenny Dixon. The doc features tearful interviews with members of Kane’s band and crew regarding the loss.
