Ohio State head coach Ryan Day says he has dismissed two players from the team following their arrest on rape and kidnapping charges.
Day announced on Wednesday he had removed Amir Riep and Jahsen Wint from the team.
Day declined to comment on the ongoing criminal investigation and said the players were dismissed from the program for failing to live up to standards and expectations.
Riep and Wint are accused of forcing a woman to have sex with them against her will on February 4th and are due in court for an arraignment hearing today at 9 a.m.
