Picking every winner correctly with no spreads in a given NFL week sounds possible, but it’s so much trickier than that.
I mean you can sit here like so many NFL wannabe’s do—telling you on Tuesday morning how well they did in their bets and office spread pool—with no actual evidence.
But that wasn’t the case for one gambler who didn’t have to tell anyone that he picked every game right, because he had it written down—on his Week 2 entries in the William Hill Nevada Pro Football Progressive Parlay Card.
And while you probably don’t know what that is, I can tell you what it’s worth—over $84,000.
So yeah, while you were suffering through that yawner of a Monday night football game between the Seahawks and Bears—this gambler was sitting at 14-0 needing the Bears to win to make him a progressive jackpot of $84,565.
And here’s the thing, he wagered just five bucks on the payout of 16,913 for 1.
And in case you are wondering—yes, the Vikings Packers tie counts as win.
A very, very big win.
