Brant Hurter was credited with the victory after striking out one batter without allowing a run over three and a third innings of work. Tyler Holton secured his first save of the postseason after pitching a scoreless top of the ninth. Riley Greene, Matt Vierling and Spencer Torkelson each drove in a run. Alex Cobb was tagged with the loss after allowing two runs on three hits over three innings pitched. Steven Kwan led the way at the plate after going three for four for the Guardians, who look to avoid elimination when they visit the Tigers for Game Four on Thursday.
