The Guardians edged the Tigers 9-8 in extras from Detroit. Josh Naylor and Brayan Rocchio drove in runs in the top of the 10th inning. Emmanuel Clase earned the save in the bottom half of the frame to secure the win. Cleveland has won three of its last five and remains first in the AL Central at 57-and-33. The four-game set continues tonight.
