DETRIOT, MI--- Emotional pregame festivities pushed this originally scheduled 1:10 game back to a 1:40 start so the Detroit Tigers could honor future Hall of Famer Miguel Cabrera. Cabrera counited to push back the clock, hitting his 3rd double of the series Saturday afternoon, including tagging up at 2nd to advance himself to 3rd. For the Guardians, we would see Triston McKenzie make his 4th start of the year. McKenzie would go a little over 4 innings and give up 3 hits.

Saturday afternoon's game was all Detroit, the 7th inning would be where the Tigers would put the dagger in the heart of the Guardians. The 4th inning would see the Miguel Cabrera double and tag up to 3rd, Cabrera was then driven home by a Matt Vierling triple. Another triple in the 6th inning would drive in 2 Detroit runs, the triple would come off the bat of Akil Baddoo, then the 7th inning explosion would come. James Karinchak was the pitcher in the 7th inning and he did not help the situation, giving up 3 straight walks. Included in that 7th inning was a Miguel Cabrera SAC fly, and 2 separate 2 out, 2 run singles with the first coming from Andy Ibanez, then the second coming from Carson Kelly. The Tigers also sent out 10 batters in the 7th inning.

The Guardians will finish the season tomorrow afternoon in Detroit and send a farewell to manager Tito Francona, first pitch is set for 3:10
