You don't have to wear red spandex and have a foul mouth to be a superhero.

Ryan Reynolds proved to be something of a superhero in street clothes when he made a 9-year-old cancer victim's day with a personal Zoom call.

It all started when "Miles For Men" charity team member Micky Day appeared on BBC Tees Radio on October 29, telling young Riley's story.

Long story short, word got to Ryan, who placed the call. "Boo! Hello there Riley," the call began with the stunned fan. "You’ve been going through a lot, and I cannot wait to meet you. I’m going to make sure that this is one of the best days of your life."

At one point Ryan brings wife Blake Lively into frame to say hello, and before the call wraps, hints at traveling to England to meet the young boy in person at an upcoming Wrexham A.F.C. soccer game.
