State Trooper Saves Kitten From The Middle Of A Highway

A tiny kitten stuck in the middle of a busy highway is safe after a rescue. Pennsylvania State Police from the Harrisburg barracks are being celebrated for helping to rescue the scared kitty.

Rescue group PAWS of Pennsylvania shared on its social media page that troopers shut down part of Interstate 83 in Harrisburg for a short time Sunday to retrieve the kitten who was stranded in the median near Union Deposit.

The organization says Trooper Barry transported the cat to their facilities, where the little male was checked out by a vet and neutered.

They say the kitten they named "Trooper" remarkably didn't have any major injuries.

He'll be up for adoption once he's healed completely.
