Akron Public Schools To Continue Remote Learning Through Year's End

With coronavirus numbers continuing to rise, the Akron Public Schools Board of Education held a vote on Monday.

Unanimously, the decision was to keep students in remote learning through the end of 2020.

Administrators have expressed concern about students who may need some form of special learning assistance that they cannot get at home.

School principals and teachers will review students to determine who might fit into that category and then make sure that special assistance is provided.
