The Ohio Health Department is reporting a new record for the number of daily cases of COVID-19 found across the state.
Officials said they found two-thousand-39 coronavirus cases on Wednesday, for an increase of almost 600 more than reported on Tuesday.
There were also 16 new deaths from COVID-19 reported to push the overall total of deaths since March to five-thousand-33 people.
Doctors said 151 new patients were admitted to hospitals across Ohio, and the estimated number of recoveries is above 145-thousand.
