A New York nurse has officially adopted one of her long-time patients after caring for him for most of his life.
Kelli Dabek is now mom to nine-year-old Jashia, who has special needs and several illnesses.
He’s been living with her for two years, since he was put into foster care after his biological mother’s unexpected death.
