Chiefs Pull Away Late To Beat Patriots

Patrick Mahomes threw two second-half touchdown passes to help the Chiefs pull away for a 26-10 win over the Patriots at Arrowhead Stadium.

He hit Tyreek Hill from six yards out in the third quarter to make it 13-3 and found Mecole Hardman from six yards out in the fourth to make it 19-10.

Tyrann Mathieu sealed the win with a 25-yard pick-six on the next series as Kansas City improved to 4-and-0.

N'Keal Harry caught a four-yard touchdown pass from Jarrett Stidham early in the fourth to pull New England within 13-10.

Brian Hoyer started for the Pats, but he and Stidham combined for three interceptions and a lost fumble as New England fell to 2-and-2.

Cam Newton was out after testing positive for COVID-19.
