Cleveland infielder Jose Ramirez hit a three-run walk-off home run in extra innings to clinch a 5-3 victory over the White Sox and a berth in the playoffs.
The two teams managed only one run apiece through nine innings before the White Sox scored two in the top of the tenth to take the lead.
In the bottom of the inning, Francisco Lindor doubled in a run, and Cesar Hernandez walked before Ramirez blasted his homer to deep right-center to win the game.
Cleveland has now won three in a row and will go for number four tonight when they meet up with the White Sox again at 6:10 p.m.
