Indians Top White Sox

Carlos Santana smacked a go-ahead two-run homer in the fifth inning as the Indians topped the White Sox 7-4 in Cleveland.

Jose Ramirez hit a three-run blast in the first inning for the Tribe, which has won four-of-five.

The Indians sit four games behind the Sox for first place in the AL Central. The Twins are just one-and-a-half back in the division.

Aaron Civale allowed four runs over six innings to improve to 4-and-5. Brad Hand closed it out for his 14th save.

Eloy Jimenez belted a two-run homer during a four-run fifth that tied the game for Chicago, which has dropped four-of-six. Jace Fry took the loss.
