Reds Sweep Pirates in Doubleheader

The Reds swept the Pirates in a doubleheader in Cincinnati, winning the second game 9-4 behind a three-run homer from Mike Moustakas.

Joey Votto and Brian Goodwin both homered for Cincinnati, which has won three-straight. Sal Romano got his first win in relief.

Josh Bell and Ke'Bryan Hayes both homered in the loss for Pittsburgh, their sixth straight. Nik Turley took the loss in relief.

In the first game, Tyler Stephenson hit a walk-off, two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh as the Reds beat the Pirates 3-1.

Joey Votto homered in the fourth to put Cincinnati on the board.

Trevor Bauer gave up one run and struck out 12 over six-and-two-thirds, but was saddled with a no decision.

Colin Moran homered to lead off the top-half of the seventh for Pittsburgh to tie the game.

Sam Howard took the loss in relief.
