Big Ben, Steelers Bash Giants

Ben Roethlisberger passed for three touchdowns as the Steelers bashed the Giants 26-16 on Monday Night Football at MetLife Stadium.

His third TD pass with 5:23 left to play gave Pittsburgh a 16-point lead.

JuJu Smith-Schuster caught six passes for 69 yards and two scores in the season-opening win.

Benny Snell Jr had 119 yards on the ground for the Steelers in their win over New York Monday night.

That was in large part to starting running back James Conner leaving the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury.

There was no word late Monday night as to the severity of the third-year pro's status.

The victorious Steelers will return to Pittsburgh to open their home slate Sunday when they welcome the Broncos.

Denver lost 16-14 against the Tennessee Titans on the second-game of the Monday Night Football slate.
