Indians Drop Third Straight In Blowout Loss To Kansas City

The Cleveland Indians lost their third game in a row as the Kansas City Royals flirted with a no-hitter in an 11-1 victory.

Kansas City starter Brady Singer took a no-hitter into the bottom of the eighth inning before Austin Hedges beat an infield shift with a single to spoil it.

The Indians were then able to avoid the shutout in the ninth on an RBI single by Mike Freeman.

Cleveland finished their homestand 3-4 and will now head to Minnesota tonight to take on the twins starting at 8:10 p.m.
