The Cleveland Indians managed only six-hits and no runs in a 3-0 home loss to the Kansas City Royals.
Tribe starter Carlos Carrasco kept the Indians in the game, working seven innings and giving up only one run, but Royals pitcher Danny Duffy and three relievers kept Cleveland scoreless.
Cleveland's offense was led by Delino DeShields, who had three of the team's six hits, including a triple.
The Indians and Royals will now face off in a rubber game to decide the series tonight with first pitch set for 6:10 p.m.
