The Cleveland Indians bullpen allowed five runs over the last three innings as the Royals beat the Tribe 8-6 at Progressive Field.
The Indians scored five runs early to take a 5-3 lead into the seventh, but four relievers each allowed runs to score as the Royals rallied to snap a seven-game losing streak.
Cleveland's offense was led by Francisco Lindor, Carlos Santana, and Sandy Leon, who all homered.
The Tribe will look for revenge tonight at 6:10 p.m. when they square off again with Kansas City for game-three of their four-game series.
