Cincinnati Reds Game Postponed Due To Player Protest Over Racial Unrest

The Cincinnati Reds and Milwaukee Brewers are looking to play a doubleheader today after deciding not to play on Wednesday.

Around 90-minutes before first pitch, the teams said they were not going to take the field to protest the shooting of an unarmed black man by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, which is only 44-miles outside of Milwaukee.

The move came after the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks said they would not play their Game Five playoff matchup with the Orlando matchup because of the shooting.

The Reds and Brewers are expected to play two seven-inning games today with Game One set for 5:10 p.m.
