Indians End Short Two-Game Skid With Win Over Twins In Cleveland

The Cleveland Indians rallied for three late runs to surge past the Twins in a 4-2 win at Progressive Field.

Down by a run in the seventh inning, Francisco Lindor hit a two-run home run for the lead and Tyler Naquin doubled in an insurance run to help the Indians revenge a loss to the Twins on Monday.

Shane Bieber struck out ten batters over six innings for the win, and Brad Hand worked the ninth for his eighth save.

The Indians and Twins will play again tonight at 7:10 p.m. with Mike Clevinger expected to start for the Tribe after being benched for breaking COVID-19 rules.
