Indians Rally To Beat Pirates In Ten Innings

The Cleveland Indians rallied for three runs in the top of the tenth inning to defeat the Pirates 6-3 in Pittsburgh.

Tied at 3-3 the Indians had runners on first and second when Carlos Santana clobbered a 442-foot shot to left field with one out to give Cleveland the lead for good.

Tribe reliever Nick Wittgren got the win and closer Brad Hand struck out the side in the bottom of the tenth for his sixth save.

The two teams will play again tonight with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
