Cubs Roll Over Indians Bullpen To Take First Game Of Two-Game Series

The Chicago Cubs jumped on the Cleveland bullpen to power their way to a 7-1 win over the Indians at Progressive Field.

Tribe starter Adam Plutko gave up one run over four innings, but three of the four relievers who followed him were torched for six runs as the Cubs won their seventh victory in their past eight games.

Cleveland managed only four hits as a team, with two of them coming from Franmil Reyes, who also had the team's only RBI.

The Indians and Cubs will meet up again tonight as they close out their short two-game series with first pitch at 6:10 p.m. from Cleveland.
