Wild Turtle Found Covered In Nail Polish, Glitter

Stark Parks officials are educating the public about what not to do with wild turtles.

Conservation officers posted pictures of a Woodland Box turtle with its shell painted with nail polish and glitter yesterday.

They're calling the painting a case of animal abuse, because painting a turtle's shell prevents camouflage in nature and limits its ability to grow strong bones.
