Steelers cornerback Justin Layne has been placed on the reserve COVID-19 list.
He's the second Steelers player to go on the list so far.
Layne can be activated prior to the season but would have to sit out for at least six weeks if he goes on the reserve PUP list once the season starts.
Pittsburgh begins practice August 17th.
