Cleveland Bats Go Cold In Series Finale Loss To White Sox

Cleveland pitcher Zach Plesac pitched eight-innings of shutout baseball but couldn't get any run support or bullpen help in a 4-0 loss to the Chicago White Sox.

Plesac struck out eleven and gave up only three hits, but in the ninth, Tribe closer Brad Hand gave up a leadoff double and two walks as the Sox broke through with four runs.

Cleveland loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth with two outs but couldn't rally to take their second loss of the season.

The Indians will now hit the road to face the Twins tonight at 7:07 p.m. from Target Field in Minneapolis.
