Cleveland Takes Rubber Game Of Series With Win Over Kansas City

The Cleveland Indians took the rubber game of their opening weekend series with a 9-2 win over the Kansas City Royals.

Jose Ramirez homered twice and drove in four runs while Carlos Carrasco pitched six strong innings and struck out ten to get the win.

Cleveland is now tied with Detroit for first place in the American League Central.

The Indians will open a three-game series with the Chicago White Sox tonight with first pitch set for 7:10 p.m. from Progressive Field.
