About 20,000 Fans Watch Elliott Wins NASCAR All-Star Race

About 20-thousand fans watched Chase Elliott win the NASCAR All-Star Race and a one-million dollar prize.

It is the largest number of fans to attend a sporting event in the United States since the coronavirus shut down sports in March.

Exact attendance figures were not announced, but the race was moved from Charlotte Motor Speedway, where state authorities would not allow spectators, to Bristol Motor Speedway, which has a capacity of more than 160-thousand and was permitted to a sell a percentage of seats.

Elliott held off Kyle Busch to take the win. Kevin Harvick took third and Brad Keselowski fourth.
