NFL insiders are saying the Cleveland Browns are close to re-signing defensive end Myles Garrett for 125-million-dollars.
According to sources' reports on Tuesday, the deal is for five-years and would make the former number-one overall pick the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL.
Garrett has recorded 30-and-a-half career sacks in 37 games for the Browns and was set to make the Pro Bowl in 2019 before the league suspended him for fighting during a game.
Garrett claimed an opponent called him a racial slur before the fight and was reinstated by the NFL last February.
