Charlie Daniels died last week at the age of 83, and now Brantley Gilbert has paid tribute to the late singer by performing a cover of Daniels' classic tune “Long Haired Country Boy.”
In sharing the performance on Instagram, Brantley writes, “Charlie Daniels is a legend of country music.... Put together this cover with @jessebfranklin to honor the man he was and the music he made.... Both will inspire me forever.... RIP Charlie Daniels.”
