The LeBron James Family Foundation is expanding the I Promise School west of Downtown Akron.
The Foundation is converting the top floor of the Tangier's parking garage into a sports complex.
The project is in partnership with the Dick's Sporting Goods Foundation, Akron Public Schools and J.M. Smucker Co.
Specific plans and costs for the project were not released.
