Over One-Thousand New Coronavirus Cases Reported In Ohio On Wednesday

Health officials are reporting over 12-hundred new cases of COVID-19 in the state and 21 new deaths.

Governor DeWine released updated information on the pandemic yesterday, showing the state has reported 60,181 total cases since March with around 41-thousand presumed recoveries and 2,991 deaths.

The Department of Health also reported 106 new hospitalizations from the virus, which at that rate puts Ohio's hospitals on track to be at 100 capacity by August 27th.

As of 6 p.m. yesterday, there are now mandatory face mask orders in Franklin, Montgomery, Hamilton, Butler, Huron, Cuyahoga, and Trumbull counties.
