Some doctors are warning that the coronavirus could lead to a painful long-lasting erection following a case in France.
A report in The American Journal of Emergency Medicine says a 62-year-old COVID-19 patient's illness appears to have caused a blood clot in his penis, which made him have a four-hour-long erection.
Hospital staff tried to use ice to treat him, but they ended up having to drain the blood using a needle.
Experts say it is likely that the blood clot, common among those sick from coronavirus, caused the priapism.
But, more research needs to be done before a conclusion is made.
