Ohio Coronavirus Cases Increase By Over 700 With Eleven New Deaths

Department of Health officials are reporting over 730 new cases of COVID-19 in Ohio, bringing the total to 51,046 since March.

In an update from officials yesterday, the state also reported eleven new deaths to put the overall fatality total at 2,818.

Governor DeWine announced that nursing homes in the state would be allowed to host outdoor visitations on July 20th, thanks to testing efforts at long-term care facilities led by the National Guard.

DeWine will be in Washington today meeting with First Lady Melania Trump and says he expects to address the state's plan for re-opening schools on Thursday, July 2nd.
