Akron Schools Unveil COVID-19 Reopening Plan

The Akron Public Schools have a plan to welcome students back this fall.

District leaders unveiled their COVID-19 return plan yesterday after several weeks of talks about social distancing and other precautions.

Students in preschool through second grade would have in-person classes every day, while grades three through eight would be in class two days and working remotely the other three.

High school students will work completely online, except for group projects.
